Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project.

On Friday June 17, 2006 E-car participated in the Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD.

Project is a partnership between Disabled Sports USA, its chapters and the Wounded Warrior Project, providing year round sports program for severely wounded service members from Iraq and Afghanistan.Programs take place at sites throughout the United States of America offering Wounded Warriors the opportunity to integrate as participants and mentors in their home communities.

2006 First Florida Open Tournament for Disabled Golfers.

  • This Inaugural Tournament took place on Saturday June 17, at the Kissimmee Bay Country Club.
  • Tournament was sponsored by Florida Golf Magazine and The National Alliance for Accessible Golf.
  • E-car was represented by Tapan Banerjee, using the E-car’s Single Rider Golf Car.
  • About two dozen golfers with various disabilities along with accompanying able golfers participated in the Tournament. 
  • Weather was great.
  • Every body was a winner.
  • Many great prices were awarded.
  • Many thanks to the Organizers; Florida Golf Magazine and Kissimmee Bay Country Club.

E-Car Corporation proudly announces that it's golf cart for disabled golfers, Atlas was used during the turnament in Kansas City in the week of June 6-12, 2005.

The 2005 Bayer Advantage Classic marks the 15th consecutive year that Kansas City has hosted an event on the Champions Tour, which featured the world's premier professional golfers age 50 and older. In its 25th season, the Champions Tour has grown to 30 official events offering over $52 million in prize money.

Jack Nicklaus was playing his last tournament on American soil here in Kansas City.

Steve Palermo, The Bayer Advantage Classic Foundations Chairman, is a former Major League Baseball Umpire who was injured saving some women who were being assaulted in Texas and subsequently became paralyzed for life. He has made a remarkable recovery and is truly an American hero.Mr. Palermo was playing in E-Car Corporation's cart, Atlas.
