Steve
Palermo plays the Bayer Advantage Classic
on E-car's Single Rider Golf Cart
 Steve
Palermo was playing golf at the Bayer Advantage Classic using
E-car’s Single Rider Golf Cart.
In
his own words:
"...the
Atlas, a one golfer cart, is truly a remarkable innovation that
allows an able or disabled golfer to enter areas that a conventional
two person cart cannot."
E-car
has donated one of its Single Rider Golf Cart’s to Steve
Palermo. Steve Palermo is a former Major League Baseball Umpire
who was injured saving two women who were being assaulted; Steve
Palermo subsequently became paralyzed for life. He
has made a remarkable recovery and is truly an American hero.
He will be playing in the Tournament as an amateur from Thursday,
June 9 through Sunday, June 12.
The
Bayer Advantage Classic is a Champions Tour event played in Overland
Park, Kansas the week of June 6-12, 2005.
