Program Partners
The NEST program, designed and implemented by Joanna
Cornell as the basis for her dissertation research, is an unfunded
program. Joanna's time is partly funded by the Northern Virginia
Soil and Water Conservation District (NVSWCD).
NEST is coordinated by the NVSWCD. NEST highlights
the strong network of organizations and agencies in Northern Virginia.
You can think of NEST as a popular restaurant and our partners make
up the dessert selections. The more partners, the more dessert.
Partners enhance the NEST program by providing additional program
options, providing staff time, funding printing, donationing their
resources for special programs and tokens of appreciation for NEST
participants. All partners play a different role in NEST.
