Dr. deMonsabert received the B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1979, and the Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1982, both in Civil Engineering. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, The American Waterworks Association, The Water Environment Foundation, and the Society of American Military Engineers.

She is a faculty mentor for the student post of ASME and a faculty sponsor for Tau Beta Pi. She has been on the faculty of George Mason University (GMU) since 1993.

She is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of California. She is the owner of Applied Engineering Management Corporation.

Dr. deMonsabert’s current research interests include engineering management, water quality modeling and TMDL development and implementation.
